Private Eye Demo Released

VRFocus - Its taken just under a month longer than anticipated but the promised demo for upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible adventure title Private Eye has finally launched today. As the titles Twitter account reveals, developer Jake Slack has experienced a few issues in getting the sample ready for release, but it can now be played either either the first or second development kit (DK1 and DK2) for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD).

VRFocus - Last week saw Broken Window Studios release a brand new demo for its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible survival horror title, Grave. The demo, which allowed Kickstarter backers to experience brand new content from the title, was a sign that the full experience is on track to release in the first quarter of 2015 on PC, Mac and Linux with full support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). An Xbox One version is also set to arrive around the same time, but what about a PlayStation 4 release?

VRFocus - As indie developer Ghost Machine has previously promised, this week sees the launch of its new virtual reality (VR) compatible racing title, MotorSport Revolution on Early Access. The experience has today left its previously available alpha state and launched via Steam's Early Access program with full support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). The title is available for £14.99 GBP and is also compatible with standard monitors.

VRFocus - Earlier in the year Krillbite Studio launched its debut videogame in Among The Sleep, a first-person horror experience that featured support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) on PC, Mac and Linux. Shortly before the launch of the title the developer announced that it would be bringing the experience to PlayStation 4 in the future, with support for the consoles Project Morpheus VR HMD also included. Now the team has revealed that development of this version is almost complete.

VRFocus - Another indie videogame has announced plans to support a wide range of virtual reality (VR) head-mounted displays (HMD) with its title this week. LocoVR, the studio behind upcoming arcade-style space experience Lunar Flight has confirmed that it plans to support not just the Oculus Rift but also Samsungs Gear VR and the Durovis Dive in the future. The title has this week launched a Steam Greenlight campaign to be approved for sale on Valves digital store come full release.
